After driving down to the lake and taking photos for an hour or so, the Aurora was dying down so we decided to get home and warm up. Just as everyone was going to bed and I was putting my camera out to do a time-lapse, the Northern Lights flared up again, twice as bright as before. Without access to a car, Kev and I made the trek down through the woods and back down to the lake, with the Aurora blazing above our heads.
